Experience That Matters:  

A bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a similar discipline.  

outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.  

the ability to manage private and sensitive information discreetly.  

An advantage is having prior call Centre or customer service experience.  

the capacity to multitask well and operate in a fast-paced workplace. 

The following duties will fall under the purview of the helpline operators: 

taking calls from concerned citizens, survivors of violence, and their families, and determining the substance of the call.  

transferring calls, taking into account the caller's needs and the gravity of the problem, to the relevant psychologists. 

keeping the callers' privacy and confidentiality protected at all times.  

extending empathy and active listening to the callers as well as emotional support.  

recording calls and keeping correct records in accordance with the instructions given by the helpline administration.  

giving the helpline administration continuous input on any problems or difficulties encountered when taking calls.  

participating in training and development programs to increase their understanding of psychological assistance and violence against women.
